The Good

Intuitive CRM application

An uncluttered and straightforward user interface makes vtiger CRM On Demand easy to navigate. Like most CRM applications, vtiger has modules that run across the top with big, clear buttons to perform basic commands. When you view an individual record, the data is presented cleanly with the ability to dig deeper into the record by clicking on one of the tabs on the right.

Ability to incorporate business orders into the sales process

Business orders include such items as purchase orders, quotes, sales orders, and invoices. It’s very simple to create a quote for a potential buyer, email the quote, turn that quote into an actual sales order, push the requirements to your vendors through purchase orders, and invoice the customer with the final details. Efficient customer relations management

Through a free, easy-to-deploy add-on, you can integrate a customer portal that enables self-service for your customers. This enables them to view FAQs, submit help tickets for issues, and access such information as quotes, invoices, and service tickets.

Plentiful support offerings and resources

The Bad

Limited feature sets in Sales and Suport editions

Vtiger’s Sales and Support editions both cost $12 each, which is easily among the most affordable in the industry. However, if you go with one of these rather than their Ultimate Edition plan, you’re limited in terms of what you can do with them. Those with the Sales plan can’t create support tickets, for example, and those with the Support Edition can’t create leads. If you need to be able to do both, you have no choice but to upgrade to their Ultimate plan, which is over twice the cost of the other two options. However, $29 per user is still an amazing deal for CRM software, so vtiger is still a viable option for those on a budget.
