Welcome to the Reviews.com Research Blog!

  July 24th, 2017

We’ve been researching products and industries for over 4 years now. We’re not industry experts — just obsessive consumers who have become experts along the way. We’ve discovered some pretty wild things about several industries, from hair loss treatment to homeowners insurance. If you want to know more about who we are, check us out here.

After years of creating hundreds of reviews, we realized we also want to be a voice for consumers as a reliable source for truthful information. The goal is to help people not only make the right purchasing decisions, but to avoid bad ones.

There are tons of consumer advocacy blogs out there, but what sets us apart is that we can back up our findings with literally thousands of hours of research and experiences. Why can we tell you to be aware of bottled water because it’s as acidic as acid rain? Because we actually tested the pH levels of the top bottled water brands.

There are so many things to discuss, and we’re firm believers in the idea that you make the right decisions when you’re equipped with as much information as you can get your hands on..

So what can you expect from us? We’ll surface important nuggets of information as we uncover them during our research. You can expect to see us answer the tough questions that many consumers have, like what exactly IS a paraben and why are we so terrified of them? What are the most important elements to consider when taking out a line of credit today? What is a VPN and why should I be so concerned about internet privacy? There are so many things to discuss, and we’re firm believers in the idea that you make the right decisions when you’re equipped with as much information as you can get your hands on. Ignorance isn’t bliss. We’re all about transparency at Reviews.com, so whatever we know, you’ll know.

Readers are more than welcome to ask us any burning questions about products and services that are on their minds. If we don’t have an answer, we’ll try our best to help you make an educated decision. Be sure to check out all our reviews and if there’s something you want us to dig deeper on — Tweet us, find us on Facebook, or leave us a message at blog@reviews.com! We love hearing from you, and we’re excited to have you all along for the ride!

We can’t wait to share what we uncover with the rest of the world!
