The Good

Goal setter

If you're exercising with a specific goal in mind, the NordicTrack Elite 9500 Pro has a feature that could really help you out. It allows you to set a goal of either calories burned, total workout time, distance traveled, or a pace goal. Progress can easily be seen on the treadmill's racetrack display. With features like these, you are sure to reach your goal in no time.

Excellent onboard workouts

The NordicTrack Elite 9500 Pro offers a great selection of onboard workout programs. You can choose from weight loss, heart rate, interval, and endurance workouts, among others. And that doesn't even include all the bonus workouts that come with the iFit program. With so many options, you'll never get bored with the NordicTrack Elite 9500 Pro.

Adjustable cushioning

Running on a treadmill can be hard on your body. The NordicTrack Elite 9500 Pro offers a solution to this problem with its Quadflex™ cushioning, which allows you to adjust the cushioning in the deck so that you can feel more comfortable while exercising. There are nine different settings to choose from, so you shouldn't have a problem finding one that fits your needs.

Outstanding entertainment features

If you like listening to music or surfing the web, you'll love the NordicTrack Elite 9500 Pro. This treadmill has built-in speakers and an audio port, which make it easy to listen to all your favorite songs while you walk or run. You can also access the Internet via the built-in web browser, allowing you to read the news, check your email, or see what your friends are up to online. In addition, the Elite 9500 Pro has iFit, which grants you access to even more workout programs, including some powered by Google Maps, and allows you to track your workouts over time. All of these features make it nearly impossible to get bored with the NordicTrack Elite 9500 Pro.

Large track surface

The NordicTrack Elite 9500 Pro comes with a larger-than-average track surface, making it comfortable for any stride. If you have ever felt cramped using treadmills with smaller decks, then this machine may be the perfect solution. This does mean that the treadmill will take up a little more space in your home, but it may be worth it for some.

The Bad

Slightly higher in-home assembly cost

Many of the top treadmill manufacturers assemble the treadmill in your home for an additional fee. Although some treadmill owners might enjoy the assembling task, having access to professionals is no doubt appreciated by many customers. Some companies charge as little as $195 for in-home assembly, but NordicTrack Elite 9500 Pro customers will have to pay $249 for the assembly service. However, considering that most top brands charge $200 or more for in-home assembly, the additional expense probably won't deter those customers that prefer professional assistance.
