Ecovac claims the new Deebot Ozmo 960 is the world’s first AI-powered smart vacuum. Thanks to proprietary AIVI (Artificial Intelligence and Visual Interpretation) tech, the Ozmo 960 will not only learn your home’s floor plan, but will also be able to identify and avoid common robovac pitfalls like shoes, socks, and cords. With this AIVI technology, Ecovac claims the Ozmo 960 is “no cleaning before cleaning” smart vacuum.
We already tested Ecovac’s Deebot 900 and found it surpassed the competition when it came to navigation and advanced floor plan mapping. If the Ozmo 960’s innovative tech truly helps it dodge annoying obstacles without forcing you to pickup cords and shoes before use, it’ll be a first for the industry and a huge win for Ecovac. While we haven’t seen it in action just yet, we’re excited to see more this week at CES.
Ecovac’s Deebot Ozmo 960 will hit stores in Summer 2019 and cost under $1,000.
