The Chase Ink Business Unlimited credit card is excellent for small business owners looking for a straightforward rewards program. Cardholders can earn an extra $500 if they spend $3,000 within the first three months of opening an account.

It also provides 1.5% cash back on all purchases and no annual fee. Users can choose to claim their cash back as a statement credit to go toward the card’s balance. This not only helps small business owners save money, but it also helps them cover expenses.

There are a lot of other great features that make this card appealing for business owners. For example, business owners can get employee cards for free and set custom spending limits. In addition, each employee card still earns 1.5% cash back for the primary account holder.

Best for: Business owners who want to curb expenses. With no annual fee, a 0% intro APR period, and cash back to offset purchases, the Chase Ink Business Unlimited Card can help users increase their profit margins.

It also doesn’t cost extra to add employee cards, which nets business owners additional cash back.

Not for: Business owners who frequently travel outside the country. If you’re a regular international traveler, the 3% foreign transaction fee on every purchase adds up quickly.

Frequent travelers may want to look for a card that doesn’t charge foreign transaction fees, such as the Bank of America Business Advantage Travel Rewards World Mastercard.

Main Benefits

Unlimited Cash Back

Each purchase earns you 1.5% cash back. There are no restrictions on the types of purchases and no limit on the amount of cash back you can receive. This also applies to any employee cards.

There are multiple ways to redeem rewards, including gift cards, travel, a bank account deposit, or a credit card statement. It’s a great perk that can help business owners offset their costs across the board.

0% Introductory APR

The 0% introductory APR on purchases for 12 months can be a big help for businesses. Compared to most other business cards, the Ink Business Unlimited has a longer introductory promotional period.

It’s an interest-free way to finance your business spending in the short term. It’s also helpful if you’re planning to make any large business purchases.

Combined with a $500 sign-up bonus and 1.5% cash back, small businesses can really benefit from the Chase Business Unlimited Card.

Possible Drawbacks

Low Cash Back Rate

Chase’s Ink Business Unlimited Card has a simple and straightforward cash back program, but the simplicity comes at the cost of lower cash back reward rates when compared to other cards on the market.

If you spend highly in certain categories, you may find that a card that gives you additional cash back in those areas produces higher returns. Although, sometimes those cards may limit the amount you can earn.
